What is your day job?
I’m a housing reporter for The Wall Street Journal.
How did you get your start in the industry?
I started covering the mortgage and housing markets at the end of 2008.
What do you think will be the biggest trends in construction/building over the next year or two?
I’m interested in how the shift towards home-rentership will drive investment capital and how that will drive construction, particularly in markets hardest hit by the housing bust.
What is the one Twitter account that you would recommend building professionals follow and why?
Bill McBride (@calculatedrisk) produces a must-read economic and housing related blog, CalculatedRisk, and his twitter feed is an excellent way to keep up with his posts.
