KAST Construction, Florida’s leading construction firm, is pleased to announce the successful completion of Miami’s newest skyscraper. Natiivo is a 51-story mixed use project that includes condominiums, a Gale branded hotel, commercial office space along with resort style amenities including a roof top pool, fitness center, a spa and several high-end restaurants. The project developer is GFO, the family office of Russell Galbut, one of the most prolific developers in Miami.
Modesto (Mo) Millo, who leads KASTs Miami Business Unit provided leadership to the Miami based project team that spent 3 years bringing this project to fruition. “This project was a labor of love for the entire project team” says Millo. “At our peak manpower we had over 500 workers on the project executing work on every component of the project. We broke the project into components including the tower (hotel units and condominium units), the podium amenity areas, the office and commercial areas, and the building exterior. KAST had a leadership team for each of these areas who had responsibility for meeting schedule milestones and coordinating with the design team, the client and the subs. Communication and a high sense of urgency were key in managing over 1 million SF of building area. The project team faced many challenges along the way but faced them with focus and determination”. “Looking back at this magnificent addition to the Miami skyline fills our team with a great sense of pride and accomplishment” says Millo.
