American Global proudly announces that François Wasselin has been appointed Head of Infrastructure, where he will lead the firm’s newly formed Center of Excellence for Infrastructure. As former Senior Vice President and leader of American Global’s Alternative Delivery Practice, François employed his engineering background and insurance experience to help clients with major insurance placements, guided risk allocation discussions and the development of risk management solutions. During his career, he has worked directly on some of the world’s largest and most transformative construction and infrastructure projects, specializing in alternative delivery methods including design-build, design-bid-build, public private partnerships, and more. François has earned a reputation in the industry as a well-respected and trusted advisor.

 In his new role, François will expand the Center’s reach and resources while continuing his work alongside colleagues like Caryn Maxfield, whose deep construction knowledge, negotiation skills and expert legal advice, make her a key senior member of the new American Global Center of Excellence.

Under François’ leadership, American Global’s new Center of Excellence will:

• Provide project sponsors and key constituents with risk management advice during development, design, construction, and operational phases of the lifecycle of infrastructure projects
• Support both insurable and non-insurable risk profiles.
• Advise on M&A risks and strategies
• Bring thought leadership to the sector to innovate on emerging trends
• Leverage data, analytics and AI to bring timely insights
• Look after opportunities with a focus on North and Latin American projects
