Clearwater, Florida-based Creative Contractors Inc. (Creative) has completed the construction of Hillsborough County Public Schools’ new $63.5 Million Kenneth E. Adum Pre K-8 Magnet School (Adum K-8) located in Tampa. The partnership between Creative Contractors and Hillsborough County Public Schools began with the restoration of Hillsborough High School in 1996. The opening of Adum K-8 marks the 17th project completed together.
The school is made up of 182 classrooms for Pre-kindergarten through 8th grade and will serve up to 1,800 students and 120 staff members. Additional features of the 165,000 square foot project on a 12 acre site include a gymnasium, cafeteria, media center, administrative offices, artificial turf soccer field, and two playgrounds.
