General contracting and construction management firm INTECH Construction announced a key ownership transition today. Craig “Sab” Sabatino, one of INTECH’s co-founders, will be transitioning into the role of Chairman Emeritus. Sab co-founded INTECH in 1986 with Will Schwartz, who retired from the firm in 2017. In his new capacity, Sab will continue to play an active role within the company as an ambassador and steward, maintaining the legacy and values that have defined INTECH for nearly four decades.
Commenting on his role, Sab said, “It has been an incredible journey to witness the growth and evolution of this company Willie and I devoted ourselves to almost 38 years ago. I am excited for this new chapter as I continue contributing in a different capacity. INTECH has always been more than a business — it is a part of my life and I look forward to being part of its future.”
President Phil Moses expressed his appreciation for Sab’s ongoing contributions and guidance, stating, “We are extremely fortunate to have Sab serve as ambassador in his new position. Sab has been an incredible mentor and partner through the ownership transition at INTECH. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in our success, and we look forward to his continued stewardship.”
Sab and Will developed a strategic evolution plan set in motion 12 years ago when INTECH introduced its first principals to join the two co-founders in leadership, ensuring INTECH’s long-term success. Necessary for continued growth, the plan for perpetuity continues to evolve through careful planning and thoughtful execution.
Under Sab’s leadership, INTECH has become a half-billion-dollar company in the Philadelphia construction market. His commitment and strategic vision have been essential in shaping the INTECH brand. As Chairman Emeritus, Sab will leverage his industry expertise to further strengthen INTECH’s reputation in the tri-state area by building and maintaining strategic relationships with partners, clients, and industry peers.
“INTECH’s leadership team is enthusiastic about the future and the company remains committed to its core values, its employees, clients, and partners,” added Moses.
