Concrete and Materials Placement, a leader in the concrete pumping industry, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Luis Lopez to General Manager. Luis' new position covers projects in the Carolinas, as well as special projects around the US.
With 22 years of experience in concrete pumping and ten years with CMP, Luis is a natural fit for this new role. “Since the day I started at CMP every new challenge has been welcomed with open arms, this has made me a better leader and I hope to help the Team lead the company in the direction it needs for success” says Luis.
Luis started with CMP in 2013 as an Area Manager, working in our Raleigh office. His new role will help CMP grow with our customer base while promoting a safe, efficient, and profitable business unit.
“Luis has been the pillar of leadership for not only our CMP team in the Raleigh office, but also our Special Projects Division. It has been a pleasure to have him as part of my team at Concrete & Materials Placement,” says Scott Wilson COO of CMP.
“Luis is a great co-worker and friend. He shares the same passion for the business as I do,” says CEO Doug Doggett. “Over the last 10 years, Luis has developed into a true leader. He is committed to providing the leadership, training and support managers and operators need to ensure CMP customers are shown they are valued.”
Luis’s industry background and commitment have fully earned him this promotion to General Manager.
“Luis has been a critical part of CMP’s growth over the past 10 years. We would not be the company we are today without Luis being the leader he is. I look forward to working together here and to future achievements at CMP” adds Wilson.
