The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) announced its fourteenth annual Construction Industry Workforce Development (CIWD) Awards and called upon the industry to continue its progress in promoting construction workforce training and recruitment across the United States and Canada. CURT is committed to giving significant national/international recognition to companies and organizations implementing effective recruitment and training programs that develop first-class craft workers and managers.
CURT is an association of leading corporations in the United States and Canada dedicated to promoting cost-effective construction methods. CURT members recognize that training, education, and recruitment are essential to excellence in construction project delivery. As a result, CURT founded the CIWD Awards to recognize companies and organizations for extraordinary, exemplary, and innovative recruitment, training, and education programs, encouraging people to pursue construction careers.
Applications were received representing national trade associations, contractors, unions, local labor management associations, owners, educational institutions, and public-school systems. Thanks to the CURT Construction Industry Workforce Development Awards Committee.
