The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) is proud to announce its twenty-first annual Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Award Winners and calls upon the industry to continue its progress in promoting construction site safety across the United States, Canada, and the rest of the globe. As one of its core initiatives, CURT is committed to improving construction industry safety performance. 

CURT is an association of leading corporations dedicated to promoting cost-effective construction methods. As major consumers of construction services, the members seek to foster improved construction safety performance by recognizing the achievement of excellence and the promotion of proven effective work practices. 

The CISE Award encourages efforts to improve safety by recognizing safety leaders in all construction industry segments. Award applications were available to CURT members and non-members, owners, contractors, and associations throughout the world.

The CURT CISE Owner Safety Award was presented to:

These awards recognize the important role of owners in managing safety performance and achieving excellent results. 

The CURT CISE Constructor Safety Awards went to contractors in various categories recognizing their outstanding safety performances over the past three years. Award recipients were:

Encouraging owners and contractors to adopt the principles outlined in the CURT publication entitled, The Construction Owners’ Safety Blueprint, demonstrates CURT’s commitment to promoting a safer construction industry.

Those who do an outstanding job at reducing construction workers’ injuries are to be commended,” said Greg Sizemore, CURT President. He continues, “Owners, Contractors, and Associations will continue to work towards continuous safety improvement.” 

CURT announced these prestigious awards and made the presentations at its 2023 Awards of Excellence Celebration held in Naples, Florida, on November 14, 2023.
