Concrete & Materials Placement ("CMP" or "CMP Pumping"), a concrete pumping company serving areas across the Southeast, is excited to announce the promotion of Mark Gibbs to Safety Director. Gibbs has been with CMP for eight years, with seven of those in dispatch and as Dispatch Manager.
Along with being a dedicated employee for CMP, Gibbs also served 22 years of active duty in the US Army as a SFC Field Artillery Fire Direction Senior NCO. His combat tours included Operation Desert Storm, two tours to Operation Joint Endeavor, and three overseas assignments.
"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to interact with the pump operators even more on a day-to-day basis," says Gibbs. "It is so crucial to ensure that all company safety procedures and ACPA policies are followed to make sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day."
As Safety Director, Gibbs primary responsibility is conducting safety audit inspections in all CMP Regions, training and administering ACPA Certifications for all operators, and ensuring any incident reports are complete.
"I am very pleased Mark accepted the role as Safety Director here with CMP," says Scott Wilson, COO. "After managing our dispatch for seven years, he is ready for this new challenge. With his knowledge of the industry and his military career, I know he will take our safety program and take ownership of it."
Concrete & Materials Placement has been providing concrete pumping services across the Southeast since 2001. CMP delivers excellent services throughout commercial, residential, and public construction markets. For further information, please visit www.cmppumping.com
