SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Alston Construction announces the opening of its new office in the Napa area. Leading the office and Napa team is seasoned construction veteran, Rod Field. Rod brings more than 30 years of experience with a diverse portfolio of projects. Rod’s dedication to excellence is a value to our project teams and to all of Alston’s clients. Spending most of his professional life in Napa, Rod has built some amazing wineries, custom homes and resorts throughout the region. The experience Rod brings to Alston is invaluable and instrumental in the success of the Food and Beverage Business Unit. Rod graduated from Laney College in Oakland, CA with a focus on Drafting and Wood Technology, utilizing the skills knowledge he acquired from school and putting them to use by jumping into the construction industry. He started his career in the industry as laborer and quickly built his experience from positions like carpenter, superintendent, and senior project management, and he draws from this experience to be a transparent and relatable leader as Vice President/General Manager. When not working, Rod enjoys fishing, hunting and being with family and friends. For more than 35 years, Alston has offered its clients a broad platform of general contracting, construction management and design-build services. Alston Construction has a diverse experience profile, including industrial, commercial, office, healthcare, education, retail, food and beverage and government projects.
