• Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly plans on making $1.6 million in upgrades to the $10 million home that he and his wife bought earlier this year.
• Highlights from five construction permits taken out by Zuckerberg's contractor include a $60,000 greenhouse, mud room, first-floor office and exterior wall and stairway replacement.
• Right now, upgrades to the the 5,542-square-foot, four-bedroom house in San Francisco's Dolores Heights neighborhood are expected to take a year.

Dive Insight:

Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, obviously wanted a fixer-upper when they scooped up this property. They haven't publicly acknowledged that they own the place—let alone moved in—but they should have plenty of customizations at their disposal when they eventually do. In the meantime, we wonder what the plant budget will be for that greenhouse.
