The VA told Brasfield & Gorrie it would be kicked off the hospital project because it did not "diligently pursue" the job and did not provide enough workers.
Brasfield & Gorrie filed a new work plan by a June 25 deadline that the VA set, but no one is saying what is involved or how it is different.
B&G's piece of the job was valued at $260.3 million, but the company says $298.5 million is more accurate. The original completion date was to have been this October, but the VA estimates it is a year behind schedule.
