CoreLogic Home Price Index — Dec. 6
Home values have doubled in the last five years, and they continue to increase. Prices in the U.S. rose 1.1% from September to August 2016 and were up 6.3% year-over-year, according to the most recent CoreLogic Home Price Index. Some industry observers have forecast a tapering in home-price increases into the new year. On Tuesday, Dec. 6, CoreLogic will release its HPI for October, which could give some insight into what's ahead for 2017.
