In January, we launched our year-long series, "The Dotted Line," exploring facets of construction contracts each month. Our first installment delved into the pros and cons of guaranteed maximum price contracts, our second installment looked at construction bonding, our third installment investigated the intricacies of the design-build method, our fourth installment addressed the often overlooked general conditions of a contract, and our fifth installment looked into lump sum agreements.

CoreLogic Home Price Index — June 7
CoreLogic will release its April Home Price Index on Tuesday, June 7. Last month, CoreLogic announced home prices increased 2.1% between February and March and 6.7% between March 2015 and March 2016. That price growth was significantly higher than CoreLogic's prediction of a 0.6% rise.
Anand Nallathambi, president and CEO of CoreLogic, noted that since home prices hit their low five years ago, prices have appreciated nearly 40%, with the West seeing the strongest appreciation.
In last month's report, CoreLogic predicted home prices would increase 0.7% between March and April. Will Tuesday's report once again reveal a stronger-than-expected rise in home prices?
