New York City officials have announced strict new licensing and testing requirements for all crane operators in New York City to raise safety standards.
Starting next month, new applicants must obtain certification from either the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators or an organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, or the American National Standards Institute.
