With more than 64 acres of exhibit space, the CONEXPO-CON/AGG show attracts thousands of construction pros to Las Vegas each year.
It’s not always easy for attendees at the event, which is North America’s largest construction show, to find their way around the expo floor and its 1,800 exhibitors. Held every three years, it’s co-located with the International Fluid Power Exposition and held concurrently with the Associated General Contractors of America’s annual convention.
A new tech tool will help visitors navigate this year’s show, set for March 14-18 in the Las Vegas Convention Center. A free mobile app for both iOS and Android will help attendees make a plan for what they want to see, find exhibitors and take notes during the show.
Additionally, for those attending the more than 175 education sessions at either show, the app will allow users to view sessions and check on their schedules.
The app will come in handy this year, as organizers say that the event will be the largest in CONEXPO’s history.
Innovation awards
CONEXPO organizers have also launched a new awards program, the Next Level Awards, for exhibitors that focuses on products, technologies and services designed to advance the construction industry.
Finalists selected by a panel of Associated General Contractors of America members will compete during the show. The finalists will be recognized with signage in their booths to encourage show attendees to vote on-site to determine the Contractors’ Top Choice. Attendees will be able to scan a QR code and vote from their phones.

- Continental AG Smart Conveyor Management.
