• The National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) has signed on with the ConsensusDocs Coalition, which is an effort to include construction best practices in contract templates.
• The organization has 37 members now. They range from the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) to the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA).
• NUCA issued a statement saying that joining the coalition gives its members "easy access ... to fair and balanced contracts that are relevant to today’s design and construction projects."
