Following nearly 40 years with the company and a recent role change, AECOM’s Jay Badame departed last week, the Dallas-based global contractor confirmed.
“Jay Badame has left AECOM. We thank him for his past service and contributions to the company,” a company spokesperson told Construction Dive in an email.
Previously, Badame served for five years as president of the firm’s construction management business, including its AECOM Tishman and AECOM Hunt brands. In May, Bob Hart was appointed in that role and the company said Badame would serve as an executive advisor.
In 2018, Badame was named Construction Dive’s Executive of the Year for his work in helping the firm to land major commercial projects and forge strategic partnerships.
Information on the reason for Badame’s departure or what he will do next was not immediately available. Badame did not respond to Construction Dive's requests for comment on LinkedIn.
