• The Green Building Standard for home construction and renovation is due for its triennial update in  2015, and the process is now underway.
• Home Innovation Research Labs administers the standards, and the organization is asking for organizations, agencies, builders, and owners who will serve on a consensus panel and work on task groups assigned to various aspects of the standards.
• The standard is approved by the American National Standards Institute, which requires that they be developed in a consensus process that has an identified process and encourages openness among the interests affected.

Home Innovation set a March 16 deadline for applications to serve in the updating process. They can be submitted via an online form. Another form is available for recommending changes to the 2015 edition.
