This week, the Small Business Administration and Treasury Department disclosed information about recipients of the Paycheck Protection Program, and thousands of construction-related firms are on the list.
The data shows the federal government issued $521 billion in loans, with an average loan size of $107,000. Targeted at keeping workers employed, the program helped support about 51 million jobs, according to Treasury and the SBA.
A Washington Post tracking tool indicates that nearly 11,000 construction firms on this week's list of recipients received more than $1 million.
Construction Dive wants to know about readers' experience with the program for our summer series, Friday Feedback. Did your firm get a loan? Was it a smooth process? Answer our quick survey and have your voice heard. Results of this week's survey will be published next week.
