At the beginning of summer, Construction Dive began a weekly survey on rotating topics, including infrastructure projects, beating the heat to keep workers safe and racism on jobsites.
As the summer approaches its end, the outlook for the construction industry is still constantly shifting. Because of the uncertain future, we want to hear more about your expectations of the coming months.
Although it’s still August, and September will assuredly bring hot days, the most productive days for construction in some parts of the country are nearing their end. Soon, the days will be noticeably shorter and the weather in many places will drop to cold enough temperatures to make work challenging. Paired with the coronavirus, this could create even more challenges for contractors. We want to know more about how the colder months will impact construction productivity this year.
In addition, the 2020 presidential election is fast approaching. On Nov. 3, the election will determine if there will be a change in the Oval Office in January.
We want to know if you think construction will be changed by the results of the election. Will the election immediately impact the industry? Will there be long-term impacts felt as soon as the election is decided?
Please take this survey, and thank you for taking part and having your voice heard.
