• Each year, the U.S. Green Building Council gives six awards for what it deems the best work in designing and building residences that meet the LEED for Homes goals.
• The winners and the categories for work done during 2013 were:
  • Kaplan Thompson Architects for Outstanding Single-Family Home of the Year
  • AMLI Residential for Outstanding Commitment to LEED and for Outstanding Multifamily Builder
  • Blue Sea Development Co. LLC for Outstanding Affordable Developer
  • Vulcan Real Estate for Outstanding Multifamily Project
  • Nakhshab Development & Design for Project of the Year
