Southeastern contractor Carroll Daniel Construction Co. is expanding.
The Gainesville, Georgia-based commercial construction services firm, founded in 1946, has consistently been listed among the top 400 contractors by revenue, ranking 249th in 2023. The company has completed projects for notable owners including the Georgia Ports Authority, Delta Airlines, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and NASCAR.
Carroll Daniel will add offices in Savannah, Georgia, and Nashville, Tennessee, according to a May 14 press release. Both new locations will focus on private and public projects.
“Both areas are major drivers in economic development and are a natural next step for our business as we grow our footprint to better serve our client base,” Brian Daniel, company president and CEO, said in the release.
The new locations will bring Carroll Daniel’s total number to six offices in five cities, including Atlanta, Gainesville and Greenville, South Carolina.
Alan Schuetze will lead the company’s new Savannah office as vice president and division manager, according to the release. Schuetze is a 14-year veteran with Carroll Daniel, having previously held development and operation roles in Georgia and Greenville.
The new Tennessee office will be led by Grant Chaney, vice president and division manager, and Allen Guillory, operations manager.
Chaney joins Carroll Daniel after years working in economic and industrial development for railroad and construction companies. In his new role, Chaney’s work will focus on client partnerships and operational oversight.
Guillory has been in the construction industry for over 30 years, starting as a project manager with Turner, and most recently working in leadership positions for Nashville-based Elmington Construction Co., according to LinkedIn.
With a portfolio of industrial, education, hospitality and healthcare projects, Guillory has led teams as a senior level construction executive. In his new role, he will provide construction and operational leadership to project management and field teams.
