London-based Balfour Beatty has tapped industry veteran Jenni Kelley as senior vice president and CFO of the builder’s U.S. Civils division, which focuses on infrastructure, the contractor announced on Dec. 19.
With 20 years of corporate finance experience, Kelley has successfully led teams at the builder through reorganizations, system conversions and finance transformations, according to the release.
Kelley, who has been with the contractor since 2014, was previously a vice president of finance for Balfour Beatty US, according to her LinkedIn. Prior to joining, she spent 7 years as an audit manager for Ernst & Young, and 1 year as a manager of technical accounting and financial reporting for Omni Hotels.
Kelley graduated from Texas A&M University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and masters degree in finance. She maintains her status as a Certified Public Accountant, per the release.
The company ended the year on a high note — in December, Balfour Beatty claimed it would slightly exceed its full-year backlog numbers issued in August in a year-end trading update on Dec. 7.
