Associated Builders and Contractors said it is siding with an emploiyer coalition that is challenging President Obama's recess appointment of three members of the National Labor Relations Board.
ABC indicated it is none too happy with the NLRB generally. The board recently changed the rules for union certification elections to shorten the process, which employers argue will encourage uninformed decisions workers.
“The motion we filed ... is a major step toward overturning the President’s ill-conceived and illegal efforts to ignore the Constitution,” said CDW Chairman Geoffrey Burr. “This act brazenly violates constitutionally established separation of powers, all but ensuring that the rogue, anti-business agency continues uninterrupted in its pursuit of silencing the voices of employers in the workplace.”
