A central location for students, the campus-changing Student Success Center will support the visions of St. Petersburg College, and help foster focused, deliberate, career education
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (September 21, 2016) -- The storied and growing St. Petersburg College has selected a team of LEMA Construction, Perkins + Will, and Wannemacher Jensen Architects (WJA) to design and build a new flagship building at their St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus, to be known as the “Student Success Center.”
The project also includes renovations to an existing administration building, along with the ground-up construction of the three-story Student Success Center. This building will be the new face of the campus. Designs for the new structure are currently in development by Perkins + Will and Wannemacher Jensen. LEMA is serving as Construction Manager. Construction is planned for completion in Fall of 2018.
“We appreciate the student-centric, forward-focused approach of St. Petersburg College – we’re thrilled to contribute toward such a progressive educational vision,” said WJA’s Jason Jensen. “And we’re fortunate to collaborate with esteemed professionals Perkins + Will and LEMA Construction.”
