Milford, Massachusetts-based Consigli Construction Co. has tapped Jennifer Rand to lead its efforts in New York’s Capital Region, the firm announced on Dec. 8.
Rand, who was previously a project executive, joined Consigli in 2006 and returned to Albany in 2013 to support the company as it built its regional office.
Originally from the region, Rand has led projects in higher education, healthcare, K-12, residential and the hospitality market, per the release. She headed the construction of the University at Albany’s SUNY Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurship Complex.
Rand has worked on projects with the Albany Medical Center, the Emma Willard School, Liberty Affordable Housing, Skidmore College, Saratoga Casino Hotel and Union College.
“Throughout Jenn’s tenure with Consigli, she has brought strong ties to the community and passion for team development that has been a game changer for Consigli’s people and business upstate,” said Jeffrey Navin, Consigli vice president, in the release.
In addition to her work with Consigli, Rand actively works to empower young women in the construction industry and leads Consigli’s community outreach and involvement efforts, per the release.
Consigli has been busy up and down the East Coast this fall. Last week, the company celebrated the completion of two mass timber buildings on Bowdoin College’s campus in Brunswick, Maine. In September, the builder also expanded to Raleigh, North Carolina, and brought executives in from Lendlease and Gilbane.
